What you do at Barrett Web Services is nobody else's business. We respect your privacy and will not share your information with any third parties for the purpose of marketing or selling products to you, ever! If you wish to be contacted by a third party that promotes a product or service through Barrett Web Services, you will contact the third party directly or through a link provided on our site or in an email. We will only share your information when required to fulfill an order and/or process and collect payment for an order made by you through Barrett Web Services.

Information Collection & Use

Registration

Much of the information on our website is available to you without the need to register. In order to join our community and access other portions of our Web site, you are required complete the registration form. During registration you are required to give contact information (such as name and email address) and create a password. We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest.

You may also have the option to provide additional contact and/or demographic information (such as address and gender) to us; we encourage you to submit this information so we can provide you a more personalized experience on our site.

In order to enhance the service we provide, completing the registration form automatically subscribes you to our informative newsletter. If you wish to unsubscribe to the newsletter, a link will be provided in the email you receive.

Barrett Web Services is the sole owner of the information collected on BarrettWebServices.com. Barrett Web Services collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).

Tell-A-Friend

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Barrett Web Services stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

Your friend may contact us at unsubscribe@barrettwebservices.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

Uses of Information

When you complete your registration, we store your email address, encrypted password, and contact information on our web server.

When you register, we send you an email to confirm your registration and verify the email address you provide. The email will contain instructions on how to verify your email address and complete the registration process.

When you place an order on our website, we will encrypt highly sensitive information prior to transmitting. For your protection, we do not store highly sensitive information on our web server. We use secure third-parties to process credit card payments for orders placed on Barrett Web Services.

We also offer products from third parties through our site where the payment is processed by the third party. We do not collect or store payment information for these types of transactions.

We will use aggregate (i.e. non-personally identifying) information to track site activity and enhance our products and services. We will also share this information with third parties to promote our site, products, and services. For the protection of your privacy, we will not share any personally identifying information with these third parties.

Credit Check

To determine if you qualify for a credit account, we use your name and social security number to request a credit report. Once we determine your credit-worthiness, we destroy this document.

Enhancement of Profile Information

We purchase marketing data from third parties and add it to our existing user database, to better target our advertising and to provide pertinent offers in which we think you would be interested. To enrich our Profiles of individual customers, we tie this information to the personally identifiable information they have provided to us.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our partners and advertisers. This information does not identify individual users.
